Website Creation Terms

These terms cover a website build from Trotter Results (Timothy Trotter, business@ttresults.com). They apply only when you and Timothy have agreed in writing to a website project. They are not the terms for ranking or Google Business Profile work.

1. Scope. The pages, features, and revision rounds are whatever the written quote lists. Work outside that list is a new quote, not an assumption. A typical build is a small local-business site (home, services, service area, about, contact). Online stores, booking systems, memberships, and custom apps are out unless the quote says otherwise.

2. Fee and payment. The fee is the amount in the written quote. No work starts until that quote is accepted. The quote states when payment is due. Late payment pauses the build. Trotter Results does not publish a standard website price on this page.

3. What you provide. You supply accurate business name, phone, service area, services, hours, and any photos or logos you have the right to use. You confirm that the facts are true. If a fact is wrong and the site ships that way, fixing it after approval can be a new revision.

4. Your review. You get the draft described in the quote. Feedback is due in the window the quote names (if none is named, 10 business days). Silence after that window is not approval, but it does pause the schedule until you respond.

5. Ownership. After the agreed fee is paid in full, you own the page copy and the design as delivered, and you get the site login. Third-party tools (theme, hosting, domain, form app, fonts, stock the quote names) stay under their own licenses. You pay those vendors directly unless the quote says Trotter Results will bill them through.

6. Domain and hosting. You should own the domain in your name. If Trotter Results registers or hosts something for you, you can take it over when the invoice is paid. We will not hold a domain hostage.

7. No ranking promise. A new website does not by itself put you in the top 3 on Google or Maps. If you want that outcome, it is a separate ranking engagement with its own terms. This build does not include the 90-day pause-billing guarantee.

8. No fake proof. We will not invent reviews, client counts, “#1” claims, or before-and-after numbers. If you ask for that, we decline that line and the rest of the site can still proceed.

9. Cancellation. You can cancel in writing before publish. You owe for work already done through the cancellation date, as the quote splits it (deposit non-refundable if the quote says so). We deliver whatever is finished and paid for. After publish, cancellation does not unwind a completed site; hosting and domain decisions are yours.

10. City exclusivity. A website project alone does not include city exclusivity. Exclusivity applies only while a ranking engagement is active, under those terms.

11. Liability. We build from the facts you provide. We are not liable for lost profits, lost calls, or Google’s ranking decisions. Our responsibility for a paid website project is limited to the fee you paid for that project.

12. Changes. These public terms can be updated. The quote you accepted controls your project if it conflicts with a later edit of this page.
